My name is Randy Ross and I feel blessed to be introduced to this industry in April 2010.
I’m a Dr. of Pharmacy by profession and married to my amazing wife, Sally. We have two incredible little boys. My why.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study hard and be accepted to a Dr. of Pharmacy program, where I felt it was my passion to help people manage their health, and help them better understand their drug therapy – especially when, for the majority of people these days, prescription medications are their last resort.
However, things changed after nearly 20 years of practicing as a pharmacist. First, it was the economy hit in 2007, and second, it was the birth of my two little boys.
Suddenly, I was 40 years old and scared for my future. Work was taking a toll on my body, during what should be the best years of my life – and my 30’s had already slipped by. My 40’s were next. Then my 50’s.
My thoughts were occupied with staying caught with the mortgage and bills…and organizing my day to ensure I would get to work on time.
I had no idea how things were ever going to change.
I missed playing with my boys. I missed my wife.
I began to start asking myself…”what else can I do to make extra money on the side and possibly work as a pharmacist only part time.”
Finally, my prayers were answered after 6 months of asking. Somebody asked me to watch an ABC Prime Time investigative report. I was introduced to network marketing.
However, after just a few months in, I realized what people were willing to sacrificing to build an organization.They did EVERYTHING and ANYTHING it took to succeed. No excuses. And the rest – seemed to have a natural ability to enroll and lead – as if at will.
I was not either of those people.
But I kept doing what I was told to do. I didn’t miss a corporate event, I was doing the 1 on 1’s, getting people to “watch the video,” inviting to home meetings, and getting people on 3-way calls.
I was in for the long haul!
(and if I had kept doing what I was doing I’m sure I would of had success, over time, even though, despite having a small team, I was still losing money on gas, hotels, and eating out)
However, my world shifted.
In August 2010, just 4 months after enrolling, I stumbled upon a different way to build a network marketing company…and I was told you can do it all from home.
And it sounded AMAZING!
And it was just in time because the bigger my team got, the more scared I got. With my work schedule, my budget, and my family – I was beginning to doubt I was willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING it takes to build an organization large enough to get the freedom I wanted. (i.e. to succeed)
Was I willing to drive 6-8 hours in the middle of the night to be at someone’s opportunity meeting? Spend weeks away from my family on the road building my team in another state? take time off work? Hop on an airplane to support my out-of-state team?
I just could not get myself to commit at that time.
So enter online marketing.
And enter 5 years of struggle.
But, every top income earner in my company has said “Although success in this industry is a journey of personal growth and development – and only comes with time and hard work – they all pretty much agree….”if they could do it all over again, they’d do it much faster.”
Luckily, It’s now possible.
Now, don’t get me wrong, building your business online is definitely not the same experience as “traditional belly-to-belly” networking. However, it does open the door to multiple streams of income and it’s something one can do, and from anywhere – once you learn a few new skill sets.
Looking Forward
My family is what matters most to me.
They have shown me how to live with gratitude, purpose, appreciation.
My wife has shown me the power of faith, belief, and inspiration.
I am dedicated to my wife, and to raising our children to the best of my ability with strong character, a sense of purpose, and self-respect.
I found the best way to live – is to live a life following one’s true passion.
The problem is too many people get caught-up in a life where their focus is stuck on just getting by – and lose sight of everything else.
I want to continue to help and inspire people to build their dream lifestyle.
